For Posterity

I feel it's good to occasionally take different personality tests just to see how they differ from year-to-year. What is amazing is that, one would think that, over the course of, say, seven or eight years, one's results might change drastically as their mindset and opinions about life changed, right? Apparently, that's not so. For as long as I have taken personality tests, I've always placed solidly as an iSTj in the Jung tests and as a Type 3 in the Enneagram Test. The results are almost always identical, with minor variations along the line.

This year, however, the Type 8 seems to be creeping up on my standard Type 3. Interesting.

Funny, I just took the 50 question version of this test and also turned out a type 3, sexual variant, but am sx/so/sp, whatever the hell that means.

My favorite test is the Okcupid test (okcupid.com) which puts you into one of 16 types regarding your love/sex drive. Its very interesting, and I find, highly accurate.

Even more interesting, I just took a jung test (I don't know these types at all) and came out your total OPPOSITE, and ENFP.

Same on one, opposite on another? I feel like these tests are totally influenced by one's mood at any given time.

The tests aren't meant to be comparable. The Jung test is supposedly more accurate, and I expect so, considering there are 16 variants by comparison to the 9 in the Enneagram. The Enneagram is, obviously, very broad in terms of each category - it's also one of those "round up" kinda tests, considering that, given another 4%, I'd have been a type 8.
