What do we get
For our time

What do we get
When the tide rises high

What do we get
For our patience

What do we get
When the dark clouds roll in

What do we get
For our fear and our courage

What do we get
When the going gets tough

What do we get
For our love?

There is no one answer
But today it is loneliness
