Poker God

Sooooo, awesomeness here:

MY ACE HIGH FLUSH! Note how it beats the two pair my opponent had until the River.

Wii Generation

Screw "next gen" consoles. The Wii is a generation beyond all the rest! I am more pleased with this purchase (with took 8 hours in line outside the Nintendo World Store in NYC to complete) than any other game console in the past.

So far, I've played through several hours of very intuitive gameplay in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I've engaged in sword combat in Red Steel. I've created miniature variations of myself which I then used to compete in bowling and baseball in my own bedroom. And I've played the classics Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario 64!

And there's still so much more to the console that I haven't tried out.

I recommend you (yes, you!) go out (RUN!!!!) and buy a Wii - IMMEDIATELY! It's so much fun!

Sisters

I went out with Will again last night and while we were at dinner, we came upon the subject of our sisters - and how amazing they are. Will has an older sister and I have two younger ones. They are incredible. They're smart, funny, and beautiful ... and I sure hope they know it.

My parents have told me how much my sisters openly admire me, but I suppose I've kept it a secret far too long how great is my respect and admiration for them. I look up to them in all those moments where they show me how differently one can think something or simply in those times when they're there for me when I need them.

Kate is one of my best friends in this world and she doesn't seem to realize how truly incredible she is ... to everyone. She will do great things, of that I am sure.

Kasey is everyone's best friend. I don't feel I am as close to her as I should be, my leaving for school just when she was getting to the age where I could possibly start talking to her about things that wouldn't bore either her or me. I love her all the same, though. ;-)

To sisters! The greatest gift a brother could get ... except maybe a little brother. :-P
